Jesus fukk cruiserweight :picard: i dont like this jumping around in weight at all, especially if he plans on going back down. We've seen the end to this story before :francis:.

If canelo goes to Cruiserweight then he needs to go back to light heavy first instead of going back to super middleweight first

Roy went from heavyweight to light heavyweight

Anyone hating on Canelo fighting the fully recognized and legitimate WBC CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD is a biased hater. And that's not healthy brehs :francis:

This isn't Tank moving to welterweight to fight for a fake bogus title:duck:

This is the former 154, 160, 175 and current undisputed 168 champion moving up 2 weight classes to fight a recognized and actual WBC champ :blessed:

Is Makabu the weakest of the current cruiserweight champs? Plausibly :jbhmm:

Was Kovalev the weakest of the 175lb champs at the time Canelo beat him? Possibly :ehh:

But what REAL boxing fans should be appreciating is the mere fact that a boxer moved up from his natural weight class to fight a real and legitimate titlist! That's something Benavidez, Charlo, GGG, Andrade, Bivol, Beterbiev, Smith HAVENT DONE. And that's a fact :manny:

The only reason I'm fine with this move from Canelo is the risk factor of moving up 2 divisions and facing an actual champion first time out. That's to be commended. And all boxers should seek out accomplishments to be made in the sport. Thats what Team Canelo does- try to make history defining fights. Fights to build to legacy and accomplishments. Now seriously ask yourself-

What does fighting Benavidez, Andrade or Charlo accomplish really? Sure, like ya I'd love to see those fights as a fan. But let's unpack this...have any of them beaten anyone of true worth and value? Are their resumes any better than Plants? What makes them deserving of a shot at the best fighter in the world? At least Plant, Smith and Saunders were legitimate champs in Canelos current division :manny:

Eventually I'd like to see Canelo move to 175 and take on Smith, Beterbiev and Bivol ONLY because they're legitimate champions at the division and it would give Canelo a chance to be undisputed at 2 weight classes, which is surreal to say the least.

They ain't moving up fighting unknown champions because they aren't ducking no one..well Charlo with Benavidez but who cares. He's a confused cat these days.

Cmon bro let's keep it real- Charlo avoiding Andrade, Benavidez has accomplished nothing up to this point and neither has Charlo. Both don't even want to fight each other and risk "missing out" on a payday. They're doing the opposite of what Canelos doing, which is beating champions.

How can Benavidez accomplish anything if PLANT AND CANELO RUN FROM HIM..are you serious? Why are you acting like you're transparent..like a child. Absurd. It's that Mexican fans talking points...accomplishments and boring fighters..all that bullshyt because they scared Canelo can't beat anyone elite in their prime.
