Here's the one thing that's bugging me out about this: Jon watts got the directing gig by default. According to variety, Levine and Melfi pulled out because they got frustrated with the process and worried it might carry over to the production

Holland was the best of the bunch that they were looking at for the role so I am I cool with this casting.
I hated Clown though so Watt getting the director gig is

He was my pick so this is good news. He did an incredible job in The Impossible so he got the chops for sure.

you don't need "chops" to play spidey, Tobey mcguire proved that. You just need to encompass the true spirit of the character in some way, shape or form. Does this guy have swagger? Can he enuciate like an erudite? What's his diction like? Can he pull off a convincing east coast american accent. These are the hurdles he needs to pass he is already behind the 8 ball just off his face alone

I don't think we need another reboot, honestly. Most Spidey movies suck, like the Hulks. just move on...

He did his audition in front of Feige, Pascal, joe and anthony and against Downey and then against Evans..I feel like he's proven to them he can get the job done breh.
