It's clear the Lakers and LeBron are only focused on winning the title.

The problem is:

No coach is going to get the Lakers over the Nuggets.

No personnel changes are going to get the Lakers over the Nuggets.

Playoff Seeding isn't going to get the Lakers over the Nuggets.

And no combination of the three is going to get the Lakers over the Nuggets

They'd be better off trading LeBron and AD, then hiring Atkinson to work with the younger team.
