Kyrie is not going anywhere. Being in New york is the best thing for him and his brand. He already lost the Nike deal. He wants an extension and with Nets in the top 5 for a playoff run, has earned it. The Nets will pay up and all will be forgiven. No team is giving up the farm to trade for Kyrie and the stuff that comes with it.

Actually he needs the nets to trade him. Almost no team out there this summer has the cap space to offer him a max contract…and he’s not a fit for the ones that do. He needs that trade just as badly as the nets. And the nets knew this which is why they don’t really give a fukk about his threats.

He’s spent the whole summer trying to get to the Lakers and they were the one team that had capspace to get him until they made that Hachimura trade. So he knows he’ll have to get traded there if he wants his max…

He ain’t trying to do any favors…this is his only option to get paid the way he wants.
