The fact that the Mavs, Lakers and others had a bidding war for him within 48 hours of him requesting a trade says otherwise. Kyrie is a superstar basketball player that can effectively break down defenses and get a high quality look which is an in demand playoff skill
A bidding war in which the Lakers backed out because they refused to include…Max Christie and Austin Reaves :francis: (and commit to him past two years)

And not a single lottery pick, all star, or potential all star level player was offered by any team.

Not much of a bidding war for a superstar, which proves my point

So why is Lebron mad then if it was just whatever? As long as Kyrie can back up his play he’ll be straight.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
This is objectively false. If that were the case he would’ve gotten a contract last summer when the Nets literally told him to go find a team willing to give him the deal he wants. Hell, the mavs haven’t even committed to him past this season
Give him a deal AND trade away assets... No team was doing that when he has a year left..

Now watch what happens going forward

Teams do it all the time especially if you don’t have the cap space to outright sign them as a FA. Hell, it’s potentially going to happen with OG as he’s definitely opting out after next season.

Because…players aren’t owners or GMs? If the latter coveted him as much as the former he wouldn’t even be in this position and would have 3+ years left on a max deal.

It’s happened before, no reason there couldn’t be an agreement to re-sign him in the offseason. Except.. no one wants to take the risk

If Kyrie balls with Luka then Dallas gonna want to extend him, that’s why I said as long as he backs up his play on the court. Whether he stays with Mavs or go to Lakers it’s gonna be up to him

Doe Doe will be Durant's BFF. Breh is cool, humble, funny, hooper. Just a regular blue-collar VA cat. A throwback. I'm going to miss him. You can see in the comments how much he was loved by the fanbase. He will become a fan favorite in BK too.

This bum won’t become Durants bff :mjlol: nikka is a role player, we have enough of those, coulda just kept Bruce Brown for that
