Anybody acting like this is a bad deal for Dallas must be on crack or something
West is wide open
This at least gives them a chance to hit WCF like they got to last year

The big issue is their frontcourt is complete garbage and can be exploited but it's not like that wasn't already an issue. The ceiling has been raised and that's all that matters. If Kyrie leaves so what, it's not like they were gonna make a serious run with Dinwiddie anyway

Yes I would if I could remember in my 24 years of watching basketball that the whole world knew who was gone win the finals every year. Don’t know about any times before that
Y’all ridiculous with the agendas. Plenty of seasons players have stacked the deck & were overwhelmingly favorites

Just because KD n them actually finished the job you still mad :russ:

You never know, I could see the Bulls accept Westbrook and picks. They still have that very stingy owner and would probably love reducing their payroll next season with Westbrook's huge expiring. Lavine might be the Lakers next best option.

If the owners were still on that type of time then they don't resign lavine to that huge deal this off season and he likely gets traded last season before the deadline. They are not oblivious to what the salary was going to be. They traded butler beforehand because they didn't want to P pay him. If they were ever going to do a Westbrook deal it would be done already. They are not behind the scenes mulling over the offer. The likelihood is they already turned it down a long time ago

This is a good deal for the Nets too. They have flexibility now. They can package some of those guys and picks for a secondary big.

They don’t have flexibility like that and don’t have a lot of guys. Basically they can’t replace a player of the level of Kyrie.

The rumor in the off-season was the Lakers would move Westbrook to San Antonio to make room for Kyrie.

It didn’t happen because SAS would have demanded a 2027 or 2028 1st round pick and the Lakers are short on draft picks as it is. And moving Westbrook and picks would have meant the Lakers would have had even less to offer Brooklyn.

So what changed from September to now? It was always unlikely that LAL would land Kyrie. They never had the pieces to make it happen.

LAL’s best move is to trade Lebron and Davis. Not because they aren’t title contenders. But because they’re the only guys on the roster who still have value. They will suck for a while. But it’s better than the alternative.

LAL fans are delusional.

I disagree, last year there was way more optimism surrounding the Bulls potential. Now that it's become apparent that they're struggling team, the ownership is probably re-assessing.
