Kelly on a rampage
Just like El Cheetos business bunglesThis shyt is crazy. If the White House was a company, it would be bankrupt by now.
That's all very true but if reports of Breitbart really becoming an opposition to the WH, this makes this a game changer from an optics perspective.THIS IS MEANINGLESS!
All of this is a fukking ruse to make it seem like Trump is shedding his white nationalism for something more "moderate." Titles don't mean shyt. What difference does it make whether Bannon's worldview finds its way into Trump's head from the inside as an administration official, or from a third party lobbying group funded by the Mercers (who Trump will not and cannot fire)???
You're now going to see a few pieces talking about "Has Trump Finally Made a Turn?" or "Gen. Kelly Brings Stability to Oval Office!"
Until Trump's actual policies start to shift, everything else is just kabuki theater. One thing I've noticed is that these white nationalists are very savvy in terms of fully understanding that their policies are in fact unpopular. They pick up on the subtle hints when Trump has to publicly denounce them. They don't go crazy, blowing up Twitter etc, if he doesn't say something EXACTLY the way they want him to. So while this is very clearly a public relations hit for Trump and the white nationalists - I honestly don't see it causing him too much trouble with his base. As long as you don't have a nasty public food fight between the two, and Trump doesn't actually moderate any of his views - I think this will turn out to be somewhat of a nothingburger (just not the kind with Russian dressing).
I'm not entirely sure this is good news, breitbart about to go from 0-100 with fake news hit pieces
