Fun fact, I used to work for a company running this scam. Weirdest job ever. You had to call people and finesse them to donating to the cops (you're getting comission tho) by pretending you're a cop, but not saying it because that lie is illegal.

I used to watch my boss call up legitimiate businessmen, corporations, doctors and finesse them into donating tens of thousands of dollars. It was insane to see these people getting milked like this for crazy ass dollar amounts.

Even though he is very sharp and squeaky clean, Republicans would spend four years crying about it. If Biden has guts he will nominate Schiff. If he wants to play fair he will look elsewhere.
