@ the pleas that were copped for this CaC.
Like I said in my first reaction, this CaC deliberately undercut his Head Coach's attempt at avoiding the spectacle of the anthem protest/non-protest. He could've stood proud, hand across his heart, singing along word for word in the muthafukking locker room with the rest of his teammates.
He ran out on to the field to make a point: shyt on his coach and shyt on his teammates who felt compelled to protest injustice whilst the anthem played. Also, clearly wanted a "me" moment.
fukk this CaC
Exactly it was about him having a “me” moment
All the Trump supporters using him a prop in their little political games
Talking about you see, you’re disrespecting the flag and disrespecting our country.
I see his picture all over social media right now saying see this Ex-ranger stood up for our country when all his teammates was in the tunnel. He stood tall with his hand over his heart in the face of disrespect. He is what America embodies.
He undermined everything his teammates was trying do. They was trying display unity in the face of adversity. He know he could’ve stood with hand over his heart in the tunnel with the rest of his teammates. But no he wanted y’all to see him. So the world could be like he’s the good guy, he’s the hero. He getting cheered on while his teammates come out to boos. The people are like their the bad guys. He knew what he was doing. That’s why he don’t get no pass.
It’s just racism disguised as convenient patriotism because any other day of the week. They don’t care about the vets. It’s so many vets that are homeless, so many vets that can’t find a job, so many vets that are alcoholics and drug addicts, so many vets that have mental health issues or why it take so long to get seen a VA hospital.
Then they be like aw man what about the people who died for this country like they care. Do they go the funeral, Hell No. Do they go to the gravesites and honor them Hell No. Do they go to the doors of the family’s who lost people in the war and offer to the give some money to help them Hell fukking No. Lets be real, Let’s be honest most people in America see Veterans Day as a day off from work. They give a fukk about the vets or the people who died for this country. They use it as a easy way to deflect about why these NFL players choose to protest.
At the end of the day it don’t matter how black people protest they going have a issue with it. Peaceful or not they going have a problem with it because the things they plague the black communities don’t effect them. They want to hold on to that white privilege as long as possible.
