On this day six years ago, Richard Hart was forced to process the horrific news that his beloved granddaughter, Kimberly, had been killed in a mass shooting at her high school, along with nine others.
Kimberly’s senseless death galvanized Richard to become active in the gun violence prevention movement. “I try to promote gun safety whenever possible,” Richard said. “If we all work together, we can get something done about gun violence in America today.”

I’m sad to admit that there has been so many school shootings that I don’t even remember this at all and 10 people died
