I'd bet Naka got a better upfront contract that AJ. AJ probably getting a good merchandise cut and about the same or a little less than Naka.

I think the outlook for Naka selling merch isn't as big.

As noted, Chris Jericho posted some in-character Tweets aimed at Shinsuke Nakamura

According to The Wrestling Observer, the Tweets were done as a way to plant the seeds for a future
Nakamura vs Jericho match, as WWE officials are looking to schedule the bout for the company’s return to Japan in July.

As of now there is no word as to whether or not the Japan shows will air on the WWE Network like the company did with “Beast in the East”, but two shows are currently scheduled to take place at Sumo Hall in Tokyo in July.​
