They can’t stop dems from replacing him, if he dies or retires this year. It’ll just be an ugly fight similar to the Kavanaugh one, where democrats knew they couldn’t stop it but went nuclear anyway. Thomas dying or retiring this year completely fukks a lot of conservative plans and dreams.

McConnell was all giddy when he held up Scalia’s seat until trump was elected, Kennedy retiring to make way for cacnaugh and RBG passing to confirming Amy Covid Barrett in a 2 week window… Dems don’t need any Republican votes to confirm a scotus… So c00n Thomas getting up out the paint will bring that court back from a 6-3 conservative lean to a 5-4 liberal lean with the Chief Justice being the deciding vote
