Another reason, why Russia will be looking to attack, or destabilize those countries too (and guess what...if they did, so be it).
Those countries, like Ukraine, sit right on their borders. If NATO is an OPP to the Russians, why TF would they want those countries (allies with NATO), lined up all around their country, and borders? Like I said before, the US wouldn't allow that to happen, on this side. Quit fallin for these cacs propaganda, and bein blind to your master.
Sweden and Finland have no choice but to align with NATO now, cuz they're shook they'd get engulfed/steamrolled by Russia, in the event of some shyt. Those cacs only using NATO, as a defense mechanism in the event of some BS (cuz they're smaller/weaker countries) - ex. if any NATO country is attacked, the aggressor will face retribution from ALL NATO countries.

The process for joining NATO is actually difficult as it not only needs support of your citizenry but also you need to have a low level of corruption and stable government. Before the war Ukraine was very corrupt and the government is anything but stable. Finally all NATO member states need to approve another state to join. Do you think Germany with Nordstream and a healthy relationship with Russia was going to approve NATO membership with Ukraine? You know who fukked that up?
