Fangirls do the most to discount everything and make up their own reality. I remember them writing that he would never marry her, and then when he did, it was because he was "forced" (while to the contray, he was in the position that most dudes usually leave their girls in...you know, starting to get mega-pushed & mega-money). The delusions are strong, and people pass off fan fiction & made up scenarios as legit gossip. What's funny about today's generation, is that everything is either "hate or love". Nothing can seem to be inbetween, same goes for music, films, TV shows, wrestlers etc etc. A new film comes out and it's either "I hated it" or "I loved it", rarely do I see "It was okay, decent, average".
