yeah it was underwhelming....but UFC still has a greater presence on television and in the general public than boxing

smh it's sad :snoop:

Buffalo Wild wings and none of the other major sport lounge chains i.e (hooters, twin peaks) gave a rats azz about this GARCIA vs. PORTER fight

in fact with the exception of the old Mayweather bouts who rarely see boxing in the sports bars

this shyt has got to change

BOXING has a bad visibility presence

im in brooklyn right now....

but i gurantee when i go back home to georgia the only place i will be able to watch the GGG/CANELO fight will be at a damn mexican restaurant....

and that's still a "maybe"...

because they only brodcasted fights on CINCO DE MAYO

thier is no way you can develop a pay per view fighter in this age with so low visibility ...

none of these guys...crawford...spence nor wilder is registering a blip on the radar outside of the boxing afficiando's world :manny:

I agree with you but have there been statistics to show how different races consume the fights? I went to the thesther6a few times for floyd and the ambiance was so amazing, especially against cotto. However, I think most black people watch at the crib with friends. Ufc does present itself as more of a bar type fight. Quicker fights, more knockouts, etc. More of an instant thrill or satisfaction to be had. I think when it comes to the actual fan bases though, boxing fans are more passionate and truthfully now, it's worldwide presence is bigger due to people like Anthony Joshua.
