They could ban it in America and do something like stop someone from accessing even if they use a vpn

nope, thats incredibly problematic for a number of reasons.

what website has been banned in america by the government thats accessible to users of another country?

brothels and escorting is legal in lots of countries. I just don't see how they'll shut down legal businesses located outside the united states. the united states can try to seize domain names under U.S jurisdiction but that might ruffle some feathers with other governments.

edit: i read the article and just like i thought, the U.S could only seize a domain they have jurisdiction over but the company switched to a .ch TLD.

That is very inconvenient for majority consumers of this stuff. These hoes know majority of their tricks aren’t going to follow or go through all those hoops to give them money. It’s the main reason why no other “backpage” took off. The inconvenience of having to find whores is not worth it to most guys. OF was safe, secure, and convenient. You think most dudes are going to be doing financial transactions with some weird offshore people with no way of disputing charges.

You dumb nikkas need to stop regurgitating this rhetoric
There isn't any other platform like OF for these hoes
There are multiple. Are any as big as OF? Of course not. But these chicks will easily find other ways to sell their content. Long term obviously there are risks and I would expect the next site to fall as well. But there will be backups to that too.

The problem is that these sites open themselves up to class action lawsuits from victims of sex trafficking or revenge porn. Not to mention the potential for underage porn being put on there. That’s the main reason this shyt can never go mainstream.

Ok breh with the cryptocurrency argument sometimes not everyone knows how to operate it when implemented. I remember years ago or even just two years when different escort websites like adult search I think, would have Bitcoin as a payment option and I remember some girls saying using it was confusing to them

On another note what we haven’t discussed in this thread is that this news about Onlyfans at the very least is especially bad for some foreign countries or I should say it brings them back to normal

it was 3rd world countries known for being sex destinations like DR, Colombia, etc where guys were saying women started getting only fans pages and linking them on IG and how some of them stopped hoeing like they used to. In the least, they will be back to normal with the ego boost gone

Heard it also contributed to some price raising in countries like those

Cryptocurrency is in its infancy, and with all these that are young, it takes time for the general population to catch up with it. Will a majority of newcomers who would use Onlyfans probably have a problem with it most likely, but the user base for cryptocurrency is continuously expanding.

Onlyfan closing for countries where sex work is the popular year it's bad for them, but I pragmatic and believe if a woman wants to sell her box or her image to get money then do it.

But back to the premise once a coin or system of transfer for cryptocurrency is released, it can not be stopped. Even if a government tries to ban it will just go to the black market, it honestly can't be stopped. Would have to cut off the internet to stop it. The only thing that impedes it is the on and off-ramps that banks and other money lenders provide.

Banks can close any account they want based on merit clauses meaning banks can close an account for whatever reason. Exactly the case with Onlyfans and anyone trying to open another platform like Onlyfans would have the same problem. Anything taboo in our society that needs a transfer payment system will move to cryptocurrency now or in 10 years.

There are other similar platforms and you know this.. you just wanted a plat.. :unimpressed:

For real. I don't know why people are acting like this was a new concept.

I guess that's what good marketing does.

They do the same thing on another platform. Thecoli is a strange place :mjlol:

You smartdumb nikkaz really aint read the thread?:gucci:

The reason this is a big deal is because the credit card companies and other funders aint letting it happen.

Same shyt happened to Pornhub.

Now, are there still whores that are making some money???:ehh:

Yeah, but it's not as much or as easy.

That's why porn sites in general have janky ass infrastructure and controls because it's hard to pay for all that shyt.

So, what you will have is broads will have to go back to old fashioned porn, or stripping, or settle for less on the camsites that still allow them bust it open.

The salad days of making MILLIONS of dollars are over, though.:comeon:

They've been fine with working with pornsites.

Um, no they haven't been.

Have you heard of Pornhub?

And why they had to erase like 70% of their content?:usure:

Cough …Monero. privacy coins only because of the same reasons (blockchain analysis removes anonymity).

these are the patterns now , we even came out of the last war we were involved in. the war on sex is gonna be their main focus now domestically. i said this on the coli years ago in multiple threads. So this is a precursor of what is to come. They have other bills in Congress right now that crack down on internet porn in general

You already know it. But I want everyone here to understand that these moves aren't based on some wholesome agenda to make women more sexually conservative or to slow the spread of "degeneracy".

Cut of one head and many others will spawn...it depends on how successful they were though. The really successful ones are still gonna thrive, the rest are either gonna struggle to fit in another spot or go back to reality.

Like I said before, I don't think the goal is to eliminate the market. They just want to ensure that no one within that market gets to big.

To an extent, it is probably within everyone's best interest in the long run. When you look at how companies have a way of branching out, it is not difficult to predict how they would look to diversify their services. If they became as big as Amazon and Google, things would get ugly when they start lobbying politicians.

Although maybe I am being too naive. Thinking one step further, I think the concern might be the companies getting too close to their own connects.

do any of you guys think they will ever truly crack down on Twitter? I mean I remember when it used to be actual celebs on there but like I said today it seems like it’s mainly politicians and journalists and “sex workers”

some of you have even posted tweets from these girls yourselves we seen how they post and think for years. They come off as spoiled female incels. Same way people talk about incels shooting up places, I feel like if sex worker Twitter was kicked off they would run out outside and spaz in public and start protesting and wrecking shyt

Probably, I think politicians view it as a double edged sword.

I know recently you has a lot of football players (Thierry Henry being the most notable example) who terminated their account and have refused to rejoin until they tackle racism.

Imagine similar things will start happening with other content. It should not be difficult to get through to the agents of celebrities and have them pull their support.

What annoys me with these platforms is they have potential, but people behave like vile retards which presents the need for regulation.

Yeah, I don't see why not when Tumblr closed everyone ran to Twitter. Though Twitter's business model is not only sex workers so they make a small part of that space, the war on sex workers won't stop. I could see it happening, though! But to be honest, don't really come across sex workers on Twitter a lot.
