The last thing they probably want is to have to put in place everything MasterCard wants, because that would mean spending extra money. All of these content creators are independent operators. Yes they are required to have the proper paperwork, but they're still a liability. Craigslist removed all of their personals from the US site, because Congress said they would be liable for any sex trafficking conducted on the site. So they took away the liability. OnlyFans is doing the same thing. If they were serious about anything, then they would have something as simple as proper customer service for it's content creators and customers. Also, if they are in fact money laundering, what horrible person's money is getting cleaned? Drugs? Sex trafficking? Are we helping sex traffickers have an easier time accessing their money? OnlyFans was always only going to be a short term play. If content creators didn't get in and secure the bag that's on them.
