I snatched up this Iron Man and XO Man O War game for PS from my cousin back in the day:ohhh:

never played it tho

who is XO Man O War?

Aric Of Dacia, heir to the throne of the Visigoths, is a pure bred warrior who leads an endless campaign against the Roman empire. After being kidnapped by aliens one night, he becomes their slave for many years before gaining access to their most powerful weapon, the X-O Manowar armor, a sentient war suit. Donning the armor, he destroys the alien spacecraft and returns to earth, only to find out that in fact thousands of years have passed due to time dilation, arriving in the present. Still a Visigoth warrior to the bone, he plans to carve out a place for his people on this 'new' earth, before slowly and reluctantly becoming its protector.

But it's best to check out the entire Valiant reboot. Outside of some minor dips, X-O Manowar and Harbinger are near constant piff.

damn, no solar and no turok it seems.

Ninjak, bloodshot and XO are all ill to me tho.
Damn it's been a long time since I've heard any of those titles. I remember the Image/Valiant Deathmate crossover that was kind of a big deal. I also remember being interested in Ninjak cause I thought the shyt was ill. That and I thought Shadowman was a cool concept. I'll check this stuff out if it looks interesting.

Yeah, it wasn't about shyt once it was all done. Gotta love the chromium, foil, hologram, super embossed cover era.

And looking back that was definitely Images problem. Got a bunch of A list artist who thought they could write cause they came up with a few popular characters. Once I got past the art and quality coloring there weren't many good characters or stories going on. Some of the ones I thought had some interesting ideas I never even read cause they didn't have the artist I was checking for. Wish I would have checked out Shadowhawk and kept up with the Maxx since it had a very different approach to the genre. Plus I really dig Sam Keiths art style.

Jim Lee managed to create a few characters I liked too under wildstorm in Grifter and Backlash. I did see that he took Grifter over to DC with him, but other than that I have no idea what's happened to most of those characters.

image characters back then were all just shytty ripoffs of marvel characters. All the jim lee characters are DC characters now, last i checked they were using grifter and stormwatch, but fukk DC and Marvel, so i am not currently up to speed with them.

Once I took off them hype colored glasses after seeing characters cussing and the ultra violence, I realized I was looking at bootleg Wolverine, Cyclops and many others. They were smart with that initial push, just didn't have much substance to keep it up.

this shyt is DOA. sucks for them, there's no chance these movies are gonna get Marvel/DC budgets and thus will probably just be written off as cheap knockoffs.

"Hey A List actor, do you wanna play an Inhuman in the next Marvel juggernaut, or SuperFastMan from Valiant Comics?"
