Oh shyt, the KD deal actually happened:ohhh:

People were clowning Suns fans for talking about the Bridges, Cam package in the summer. Bridges raised his value at the perfect time.

Booker being injured for a lot of the season forced Bridges to step up as a scorer. He's gotten more comfortable handling the ball and creating shots. He's basically had Booker plays ran for him in the last month. Cam Johnson was the best shooter on the Suns and an underrated defender. Brooklyn got some good wings to add to their rebuild.

With Booker and Ayton being locked in long term, the Suns can afford to give up the picks.

We really expecting Jokic to beat the Suns now? Y'all doing too much.
If the expectation is that PHX can make a hellavu regular season run and get within a top 3 seed, Jokic may not have to face PHX until the WCF. It’s not unreasonable to expect a 3 time MVP to get back to the WCF. I don’t know why there shouldn’t be any pressure on Jokic to do that. He and Murray are good enough to get them the 1 seed. It should be able to translate to the post season. Nobody asking him to get to the finals, or even to take Phx to 7. Just get to the conference finals. :yeshrug:

I don't think it's unreasonable to have expectations for Jokic, but those expectations should be the same no matter him winning MVP or not. But we all know cats are gonna keep moving the goalposts no matter what he does.

He's one of the best players in the league. The expectations should match that.

He hasn't played with an All-Star for his entire career, and dragged his team to a top seeding last season without his #2 and #3 options, and yet folks still tried to poke holes in his shyt.

PG - Dinwiddie (17ppg on 40% from 3 shooting)
SG - Thomas (On a scoring tear and 42% from 3)
SF - Bridges (DPOY Candidate with 39% from 3)
PF - Johnson (46% from 3 on 5 attempts a game)
C - Claxton ( good interior defender)
6 - Curry (43% from 3)
7 - Simmons (trash, but still a decent defender)
8 - Finney-Smith (3 and D wing off the bench)
9 - Harris (mid but shooting 40% from 3)
10 - Crowder (decent defender off bench)

Am I nuts thinking that this is easily a top 5 team in the east? I think people underestimating the Nets, they about to surprise a lot of teams, and they already gotta 10 game over .500 head start

Plus they’re not done dealing, they will trade crowder and possibly Finney-Smith for additional pieces or picks, or use some picks to get off that awful Joe Harris contract. This is a promising trade for the Nets, it’s just overshadowed by their previous big 3 of Harden, Kyrie, and KD
Better than the Wizards.

And with pieces to move.

BK will be relevant again by the end of next season.
