The crazy part is the nets are really underestimating how hard it is to draft a star… so even with all those picks, if they’re LUCKY, they’ll get a bunch of mid lottery/mid round overachievers and have a pacers, kings type team….which is exactly what they had before all of this with that DLo squad with Jarrett Allen, levert, etc :snoop:
I kinda feel bad for Coach Vaughn, I mean he turned their season around and I actually thought maybe with him they'd actually go deeper in the Playoffs but I guess Nets management just said fuk it and start the rebuild.

Nets gonna lose a lot of fans (bandwagoners) lol and I wouldn't really blame em either cause it's pretty much about to be a dim future in Brooklyn.

They will teaching Harvard Business Classes on the Nets in the future.

Someone go check on Ben Simmons, he must be on ledge somewhere contemplating his NBA career.
Simmons don't give a fukk. Ben is getting $35 mil a year to not do anything. Even if he came back "healthy" and "focused" what the Nets even do with him?

I think Ben Simmons will probably be moved by the deadline or sometime next season because it's clear the Nets are in rebuild mode and keeping him around would be a waste of time for both sides.

I still think Ben has something to offer a team with championship aspirations but he's gonna need to get his mind right because the way he's playing is not up to his standard.

We all know he can play better than this, in Philly he's had many big scoring games and such so he's capable but just needs to get his mind together.

Naw hasBen is straight. Less people to watch his 0-2 from the field nights while he drives a Brinks truck into the arena.

Disagree. Cam and Clax are the future in Bx. Them boys can BALL. Two superstars in the making.

What does trading him do now? He's a roster spot. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I hate to ask the question this way, but what is Ben's purpose in life? Why is he here? Ben is gone. That guy from LSU, the one who made all-star teams, that guy is dead and if your team is so down on their luck that they look at Ben Simmons and think he can be salvaged, then you're in an all-time bad way. The Rockets suck dikk and they didn't wanna see if Ben could help. Any other team interested in him pivoted to something else. He's only a Net because the Nets followed this stupid ethos of "better to get something than let him walk."

I like Clax, he's clearly on the uprising, and Cam is good but you're betting your future on a very skinny center leading the way:comeon: I imagine a scenario where Brooklyn trades him a few seasons from now.

Why?

If Claxton even becomes a key to getting a better player down the road, then mission accomplished, right?

Cause I don't see Claxton becoming a center in the caliber of an Embiid, Jokic, or any of the other top bigs currently playing where he can lead or be a major piece for a franchise looking towards a championship or keep them in the running.

He's a good player that thrived and looked good next to KD and Irving but with them gone now I don't see him being this guy y'all think he is.
