The Dinwidde injury made them panic. Remember Kyrie went AWOL before the Harden trade and after the Dinwidde injury. That is what really changed everything.
I do remember this. The Nets do way too much panicking for a fanbase that to their credit shows more patience than deserved. Nobody accelerated their timeline more than management. Nets fans were just happy to be in the mix. They'll be patient again, but IMO, the fanbase won't trust ownership again until they actually make it back to a conference finals.

Honestly it's disgusting they traded him without moving Simmons contract. even if it meant they needed to give all those Phoenix picks to another team in a 3 teamer, you don't trade 2 HoF players still playing like HoF players and come out with such a weak return while still keeping the most dogshyt asset in the league. What a fukking joke
well, what's the rush now? They're not competing for anything. Simmons isn't getting in the way anymore of success. They've already replaced Simmons at virtually every position on the roster. Simmons is the new John Wall. He can just stay home until it's time to buy him out (I'd go even further: If he got bought out today, I don't think a team signs him provisionally).

If CP3 was still CP3, this would be scarier. He’s washed tho
He's still very good tho 🤷🏾‍♂️ the way the West is they could make it out the conference cause I don't see any clear cut team outside of Denver and even then there's no guarantee with them.

GS fell off and yeah I know you shouldn't count em out but I don't see them repeating, Memphis is nice but too cocky and likely will fall flat once again, Mavs became contenders by adding Kyrie, Clippers are too dismal, and many other teams are question marks and honestly I don't know who else in the West I'd take seriously.

I think the conference is wide open now, regardless of seeding 🤷🏾‍♂️.

Does Denver take a swing at hit somehow :patrice: Or does Memphis finally make that Godfather offer with 3 picks
I think Nuggets are content with where they are at. I dont see them making any moves outside for Bones Hyland.
