i think it would be one thing if they still had shyt they could do , the idea would be they were isolated from the world and just to the hotel/arena they playing ball at. 2 months of complete isolation i doubt they going through with it

Why do people think that guys are just gonna agree to be away from their families for weeks/months at a time in the middle of a pandemic?

I wouldn't be shocked considering the millions of dollars at stake now and in the future. The China shyt already got the salary cap coming in lower than expected now you add in all the missed revenue if the season is over. Plus a lot of retired players have talked about how things are different once you're forced to be home for so long with their families when they retire and how they're ready to get back on the road. Hell the NBAPA has been against shortening the season due to not wanting to give back any money. If the choice is between giving back millions or going away for a couple of months I see them taking the risk.

Now I personally don't think they'll be able to finish the season for logistical reasons but I don't see it being because the players refuse to.
