I legit think this season is getting cancelled.

Just thinking about how it'll fukk up next season and how it's already fukking up the salary cap.

Zach Lowe made a great point; the Finals end June 20 at most. The draft is a week later.

The season is starting April 13th at the earliest. Summer League and shyt still has to happen. Olympics July to August then Training Camp in September-October

These dudes would get NO REST this summer.

And I'm sure the NBA doesn't want this to effect next season more than it already has.

cancel summer league... instead add 5 games to season (87 = every teams plays each other 3 times= no ties).. try to minimize b2b..have neutral sites for 1 of 3 matchups ( vegas/saatle/the forum/college) .finally kill divisions... just take top 16 to postseason.. then best of 5 first round because 1 vs 16 seed... then all following rounds best of 7.

I would be stunned if the NBA is back in a month. Maybe we see hoops again by June. But people need to realize they have to test EVERYONE. players, staff, etc.. and even for an organization like the NBA its gonna be hard getting everyone tested.

How is the draft going to work if they cancel the season? It won't be fair if bad teams benefit from the draft but good teams don't get a shot at the chip this year

Don't see this happening unless there's a miracle. They're's a strong chance they cancel the season. NHL cancelled a season. MLB did it as well some years back. It's a very real possibility. I hope I'm wrong.
