Are they really planning on every team playing.

Or just starting with the playoff team?

I’ll be honest I’m good on seeing my Cavs until after the season.

right a guy like Jared can go out and then go to practice or shootaround and give it to Lebron or AD

you might as well let Lebron and AD go outside too

its not like players gon be wearing gloves and masks during practices and games

For expats overseas living in the residential/military compound, we were told that an impending shutdown of all international flights was imminent back in February; and that if we were already on our "repat" (long vacation back home) that we wouldn't receive any penalties if the shutdown occurred while we were out of country. The extended days missed wouldn't be deducted from vacation or pay.

However, anyone who was in-country and received the warning of the pending shutdown, but still willingly chose to travel outside the country (shyt ton of us always frequented Dubai, Egypt, Bahrain, etc) could kiss their remaining vacation days, pay, and possibly jobs goodbye if they got locked out.

^We were told that upfront and it was incentive for us to stay our assess home. If NBA and all involved are serious about making this work, then they gotta let it be known that if you willingly travel outside the bubble, get infected outside, and are now banned from play... well your wallet might be a little lighter. Bc them shyts was gon be light if this thing doesn't work.

I agree with you the dude literally does nothing on court anymore. It seems as if the team already has enough vets anyway. Not an undisciplined team I can’t help but think his roster spot could of been given to a more useful player.

Random but I always felt his type are the worst for team chemistry.

One foot in the locker room the other in the media for that immediate post career switch

How are players going to fulfill their "needs"?
Are they allowing heir families to travel with them to this bubble?
if so, are the ones who aren't married allowed to fly women out? :lolbron:

honestly I expect players to bring “companions” and there to be drama based on the limited amount, and or stories of dudes swapping companions......

I just hope this shyt is a success this seems like the first test run for other leagues to look at a
Honestly, the UFC was the first big hurdle

When the one Brazilian fighter and his corner-men tested positive the day of the first PPV but UFC smoothly dropped him out the card and continued business as usual... with a damn good PPV card and no other fighter getting infected... and then proceeded to host 2 more fight cards since then without a hiccup.. that set the tone.

Now the next big hurdle is seeing if that can translate into team sports (to go from 1 on 1 to now 5 on 5), and I do think other leagues view the NBA as a kind of leader/standard bearer when it comes to owner-commissioner-player partnerships and general competency.. so yea i think all the other major leagues and major networks are looking at the NBA and Disney with their fingers crossed.

I think we all know the best way to reduce spread is to have all players, coaching staff and other limited staff stay inside a bubble for a few months until the season is done. But the optics do not look good for the NBA if they demand that. Guys will complain about being slaves to the game. If they are allowed to bring their whole families including kids, than we are talking about setting up schools and care facilities for kids, it becomes much more complicated.
