Jimmy put up a 35-19-10 game against the Pistons and then totally disappeared.

Sometime in proximity of that extreme shift, a couple things happened. One might've been an illness, and the other might've been an organizational incident where a certain top exec showed a certain top player his white ass. And there might just be a couple younger players who were initially disrespected by someone else.

That's as much as I can say. More than I should. I actually hope the entire story gets out.

You know how the Heat operate. They're tight lipped org. You know that story isn't gonna see the light of day so you might as well share.

Stop it, jimmy is not perfect here. Let’s not paint him as some victim.

Haven’t been following this saga too closely but does this all stem from Riley telling Jimmy to stfu during the playoffs last year?

They win more by just sitting his ass on the bench and letting him go at the end of the season rather than helping some contender or rival opponent get better. I knew yesterday they were likely to pull the “Ben Simmons” move by suspending him and docking his paystub. I mentioned yesterday that they'll wind up sending him home if it's that much of a problem, and Spo knows how to keep the team's morale up despite the Jimmy Butler noise.

I'm all for Butler getting his last big payday but the ball isn't in Jimmy's hand; it's pretty much two options for him; either he accepts the pre-planned opt-in contract stipulation for next season or just leaves in free agency, but otherwise, Miami has no incentive to rush him on out of there. The only way Miami trades Jimmy is if they get someone in return that helps them stay competitive in the East playoff picture.

Y'all talking about Miami getting picks and a few scrubs for Jimmy :mjlol: Pat doesn't want any dayum picks; Miami isn't the type of organization to rebuild through the draft for consecutive seasons while they drop to the bottom of the standings like other teams. They're all about remaining competitive and being a playoff team at best and they're not gonna trade him for a bad contract (Beal, etc) which could fuk up their cap space.

They're not stupid or desperate enough to get fleeced like how the Nets gave up KD and Kyrie to the Suns and Mavs for scraps or how Washington got bamboozled by giving up Beal for a washed CP3 who they then traded for a player who made them worse than before with no brighter day coming soon, Wizards, despite the bad contract were competitively better off with Beal than they are now.

Miami isn't falling into that trap, Jimmy will be off the books at the end of the season.

Bingo!

Best thing for them to do is :camby: him to the crib and let him walk in FA. Attract talent in the off-season is the best play, rather than trying to trade him.

the way people do backflips to imagine that wolves team going nowhere as jimmy's fault specifically needs to be studied

Don't see people making that case? Maybe you misunderstood. There isn't any denying his positive impact on their record going on. The quoted post is about his reoccurring locker room beefing.

Jimmy Butler Calls ‘Friend’ Morgan Wallen ‘An Incredible Human Being Who Made a Mistake’

Jimmy Butler is defending Morgan Wallen after the country singer was caught in controversy over saying the N-word in a video two years ago.

"Wasn’t no controversy for me," Butler, 34, said to Rolling Stone in an interview published on Monday, October 2. "I don’t even know what happened. I heard about it. I didn’t see the video. I didn’t look much into it and I’m not going to look much into it. I don’t think he’s a bad human being in any way, shape or form."

He continued: "He is a friend of mine, and I don’t know what happened. Obviously, it was a mistake, I think he learned from it, I think he knows better and I don’t know what was said and in what context, but I think he’s an incredible human being who made a mistake."

In February 2021, TMZ posted a video of Wallen, 30, saying: “Take care of this p–sy-ass n–ga.” In the aftermath of the video, Wallen’s recording contract was suspended with Big Loud Records and his music was removed from radio stations and streaming services. He was also banned from attending the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. The “Whiskey Glasses” singer later apologized for his behavior, and said he wished he could “take it back.”
