Don't lump me in with those dudes as I'd tell you otherwise :mjlol:

With that being said, Miami is tanking his value on their own with the suspension even with him half assing it out there on the court for years now, yet choosing now to be the time to do something about it.

Like I said before, Pat should have traded him in the offseason after shytting on him publicly instead of trotting him back out there with no extension and naively expecting all to be good and well.
This is all I am saying. What was the play there? How can you believe things will go well after that with this player? I mean the only reason you had him in the first place was because of his willingness to show his ass/getting into it with authority at previous stops. The only logical plan would be that they were lowkey trying to tank this season. But the only issue with that is, if it goes south Jimmy can opt in for another year. So it's in their best interest for his value not to get too low. The moment you decided you weren't extending him, is the moment he shoulda been traded.

I don’t know why ya so hard pressed on thinking beal wouldn’t waive his NTC for Miami. The suns are trash, might not even make playoffs and if they do, they one and done.

Being in Miami is better than being in Phx, and with the heat, he goes back to being the main offensive player or top 2 at worst.

Now, if Miami wants beal and pursues a deal is another topic.
Two years ago, maybe but Miami doesn't want Beal at this point because he's on a bad contract, and among most Heat fans, from what I've seen on Facebook and online is that he's another “Tyler Herro” in terms of what he offers offensively and defensively. Both are on bad contracts, but the upside is that Herro is younger and slightly less injury-prone. So, if that's the case, the sentiment among their fanbase is sticking with Herro.

Besides, I don't think Phoenix is even contemplating trading Beal. I think they're pretty committed to him, and if they wanted to acquire Butler, the idea would be that they'd somehow still keep the trio of KD, Booker, and Beal intact, even tho I don't think that's financially feasible; cap space-wise.

I’d wait until the end of the season and let him walk. They have to take on a max deal or find a 3rd team to take on a max deal (someone like Brad Beal, who would have to leave a situation where he’s playing with 2 All Stars). In either case you’re taking on bad money after bad—or giving up younger assets.

There aren’t many $50 million players that teams are looking to move, and if they are they damn sure ain’t moving them for a guy who just intentionally stood in the corner for 2 games because he doesn’t have joy in Miami.

he has a 52 million option

According to the BOZOs in this thread, Jimmy isn’t worth shyt but fringe roleplayers and a bag chips. By y’all’s logic, no matter who we surround Bam and Herro with in a Jimmy trade, it won’t move the needle for Miami’s long term goals. So what’s the point in breaking our neck for a lateral fukkin move? Which the fukk is it? Either Jimmy is worth some good YOUNG pieces and or maybe a 1st round pick that can help Miami and be used as leverage. Or he isn’t. And if y’all think Jimmy isn’t worth all that, then WHATS THE fukkIN POINT in moving him for peanuts!? :dead:

Y’all just want Miami to make lateral fukking pointless moves or acquiesce to other teams demands on some “fukk Pat Riley” shyt. :dead:

To be clear, it is “fukk Pat Riley” but not because y’all want it to be.

jimmy is turning 36
how many teams out there are trading young talent for a guy on his last legs?

only 5 players in nba history have averaged 20 ppg over 356 and that is malone, jordan, lebron, curry and kevin durant

Yeah, but what y'all are not understanding is that Miami would be ok if Butler were to opt in because that was the original plan and they'd still have cap space to improve the team so it wouldn't be a loss because initially, before the drama, the Heat wanted Jimmy to stay but just not give him a hefty new extension or new contract which would've cut into their cap space preventing them from getting better for the next 5 seasons.

Miami still wins if he were to opt in during free agency; the idea that he would do it out of spite is crazy because the truth is he probably thinks during free agency he'd get a big contract from another team, so he wouldn't take the chance of opting in without seeing the field.

Butler doesn't have any leverage here.

Those other trash organizations don't match up to the heat. Look at Portland. Laughed at the Tyler Herro package so they can toil away with...Simmons (who's not even half the player Tyler is) and Brodgon (who isnt even there anymore).
I mean... isn't that essentially what Heat fans expected teams to do when trotting out that same shytty trade package for years everytime a superstar came into the market?

YOU nikkaS DIDNT DO shyt
AFTER SHAQ UNTIL BRON GOT THERE
AND DIDNT DO shyt AFTER BRON
UNTIL JIMMY GOT THERE

?

We've been in the thick of things since the 90s. I get it your a Jimmy stan and whatnot but we're not like your trash ass Bulls, the Timberwolves, or 76ers needing to luck into generational talent to just compete and win. :gucci:

We're a legit franchise that will still be making moves after Jimmy. After Bron left us for dead we were a game away from the ECF in just two years. With Hassan Whiteside and Bosh being out. Put some respect on our names.

The same it has been since the mid 90s. A franchise that will always compete.
So he did nothing to lift the org using that criteria right?

There are the same they have been since the mid 90s, a tough team that can get hit but largely never comes through because of Pats ego.

Outside of recruiting Shaq and getting over the hump and wade getting LeBron by sheer luck for the heat instead of LeBron going somewhere else with his other friends. Right?

And once Bron did leave he never matched his level of success in Miami in any other spot. While, we kept ticking and didn't go into some deep slumber like most teams after losing an all time talent like him.

The heat will be fine. Thanks for worrying though. :salute:
