Lot of people conveniently forgetting that Rodgers wasn't particularly good in his last season in GB. That team imploded, his body language was terrible and everything was everbody's fault except his. Is Saleh a good coach? Nah. But that defense has been good each year he's been there. The offense is flopping because ownership/GM allowed Rodgers to dictate who the OC should be. Hackett should not be an NFL coordinator.

"All that" is why they're shytting on Watson. Rodgers is 40 years old on his way out of the game with a HOF resume intact. Rodgers looks too old, Watson looks like he's forgotten how to play football at the age of 29. You can't expect the same treatment. Rodgers prolonged Saleh's job, he was heading for unemployment earlier with Zach Wilson. The Jets are the Jets.

What did saleh suck at…

Being a head coach. The team routinely came into games looking poorly prepared. They've had issues with penalties in each of his years, they had a ridiculously bad record when they had extra days of rest under him, and there were signs of him losing the locker room beyond just Rodgers (Corley posting cryptic things, Quincy Williams repeatedly demanding accountability in his postgame interview this week). That's not to mention that his clock management has been bad, but rarely gets highlighted since his teams are usually down too much for it to matter.

He has a 20-36 record with the Jets.

Saleh's a good DC. He was terrible head coach.

And not 40 year old coming off an achilles injury and 3 years removed from his last great season Rodgers.

Being good at scheming on one side of the ball does not make you a good HC . Handling Rodgers and the media and the entire team is part of the HC job requirements.
