This… yall really think Woody Johnson just gave control to Aaron Rodgers? lol. What a stupid narrative.

There was obviously issues going on behind the scenes between ownership and the HC or the direction. This is a call by an owner, not a player
Woody HAS given control to Aaron Rodgers and Rodgers probably co-signed firing Saleh, but the person who prompted this was Joe Douglas because if this doesn't work, he's gone too.

This is silly to me.. people pretending that the Jets just gave Rodgers what he wanted with no strings attached

Yall do realize Rodgers took a MASSIVE pay cut in order to bring in Lazard (as a #3 WR) and a OC he’s comfortable with. He gave up something insane like $30 million. I don’t think he has control like you think he does, otherwise it wouldn’t have cost him over $30 million

If I'm the Jets, I go after Brian Flores in the offseason. Flores with the defensive talent the Jets have would be scary.
As a Jets fan for a few months, Im off this bandwagon. No stability at all. The owner is a moron. U can make the argument Saleh was the best coach on the staff. Hackett still has a job :mindblown:

Zach Wilson put up better numbers than Rodgers is now . Again….he wasn’t the problem. The Jets coaching staff’s inability to coach Wilson was.

You brought up Rodgers.
Zach wasn't ready to be the Jets starting QB right out of college. I'm not saying that everything was his fault. The team needed to set him up for success (even if he has to sit and watch for a year). He may never turn the corner. Flacco, White, and Johnson all played better than him. Throwing him to the wolves like that, didn't do him any favors. The coaching should have been better, but you could ruin a player by forcing him to start like that. Last year they damn near forced him onto the field and Douglas made no attempt to get a real backup.

Don't know what is going on behind the scenes, but the whole situation is off. Saleh didn't seem like he was capable of benching Zach in the past and I don't know if he made the Hackett decision. The jets are a circus.

Woody Johnson” This was not an easy decision, but we are not where we should be given our expectations, and I believe now is the best time for us to move in a different direction.”:mjlol:

What expectations? Your the Jets with a one legged quarterback who can barely move out the pocket now
