I’ve watched every snap of Jones. That dude is awful. He’s the problem. Can’t read zone, can’t throw with anticipation, misses guys wide open, 1-15 in prime time, can’t throw TDs, etc etc he’s been ass under three coaches, he ain’t no scapegoat

Giants outsmarted themselves. Stupid sequence of events and they deserve it. This case of white privilge has to be studied.

They didnt exercise his 5th year option because he was trash. He had a whopping total of 12 wins in 3 years.

He had 22 INTs and 39 fumbles before he started his 4th season.

They squeeze into the playoffs at 9-7-1. Third in the division. They beat Cousins in the wildcard.

They get beat 37-8 by the Eagles in the divisional round. He threw 150 yds and 1 INT and 1 fumble.

After that last game they saw and with that resume he had the Giants decided to pay him 4 yr 160 million. The 5rh year option was 22 million for 1 more year. Giants outbid themselves.

Dude probably played himself out the league. He wasn't even that good coming out of college. But I was looking at the quarterbacks taken in the 2019 draft and other than Kyler Murray none of them panned out. Pretty much all of them busts. Haskins, Drew Lock, Jarrett Stidham. I just don't see a Baker Mayfield or Geno Smith comeback story. I don't see him even being a backup
