The rejection of Memphis deal makes it so transparent that dude jsut wants to go somewhere where a team is gong to extend him because for a competitive standpoint the Memphis deal is the best deal. They can ring him I without loss no any significant piece in Morant Bane and JJJ. But because their priority is resigning JJJ after this season, he doesn’t want to go there. Dude needs to just play nice with Miami and opt in next year. It doesn’t seem like any of the teams he want to go to involved is interested in the extension. They all want him to opt in next season. They were looking to move most of those guys anyways so it wouldn't be that big of a hit for them.

Plus they've been decent at player development and still have GG Jackson returning at some point to fill in the gaps.
