I'll be honest, my brain doesn't really work like that. My mother is the idealistic one; I'm the pragmatist.
So, to your first point, no, reparations will not happen this term or, likely, the next. This round of the reparations movement only got seriously underway less than 10 yrs ago and we still have MUCH work to do amongst ourselves before we start making demands. We just now figured out how to wield our vote to cause pain- an important lesson and confirmation of several theories. In short, this is still the organizing phase, and quite early.
Race soldiers will only be prosecuted if and when we start costing people money..... as usual.
Lastly, and unfortunately, executive, legislative, and judicial capture makes it so no one does anything that pisses off donors. Dealing with the environment costs money and pisses off the donors. #bothsides

shyt is a mess and 90% of that Project 2025 shyt is not happening. They don’t have enough follow-through at all levels. The 10% that does happen will be so half-assed and will basically tank the economy that Biden was turning around.
