Expecting perfect victims is just crazy tbh.
A lot of heroism is attributed to sit ins and marches and other non-violent acts
but the truth is AA freedom needed BOTH SIDES to make any appreciable progress.
When truly, the fear was a local insurgency waging a forever war.
The fact a John Brown or Nat Turner or Malcolm X or Kwame Ture or other very radical
individuals existed is the reason they even capitulated.
I'm sorry that many posters on here watched some after school specials and think the progress
came without some heads rolling.
After some thinking on this topic, ask yourself why we have a Labor Day and weekends.
It can get deep.
A big difference between people NOW and THEN is they viewed it as a SHARED WORLDWIDE STRUGGLE
whereas people NOW DON'T SEE THE PARALLELS (hence people taking offense to my comparisons to MLK or Malcolm
X or other historic figures).
Righteous posting.
