there was a capitol police officer who was a maga supporter and after he faced the january 6th rioters he went home and killed himself. I think he couldn't reconcile what he thought he was supporting vs what he actually supporting which went against what he dedicated his life to.

None of it makes sense. But Trump supporters exist in a different headspace where facts and logic don't exist. Also, the guy cited the incident of the war crime and wanted his email sent to Pete Hegseth (Trump's incoming Sec of Defense who supports immunity from war crimes). Did I hear that correctly?
