Jets should never go after washed up Packers QBs ever again.

Coach is gone, GM is gone, the amount of draft capital that was spent to bring in Rodgers and then Devante :francis: . Then for Rodgers to fukk off two offseasons is mindblowing.

Disaster of epic proportions.
Anyone who paid any attention to football knew that Rodgers was washed in his last season with the Packers.

The Jets gave in to public pressure in acquiring him.

It was between Rodgers and Derek Carr. Or they couldā€™ve stuck with Wilsonā€¦lose-lose-lose situation

Every QB in that draft is a bust. Gotta remember that was the Covid QB draft. The CFB schedule was wierd. Not alot of game tape. It was a wierd year to pick a QB

Thereā€™s one QB from that draft class thatā€™s doing pretty well

You know, I'd hope that this is part of a full on reset of the team to recoup from a series of mistakes, capped off by the Rodgers trade, and clearly giving him a lot of pull in the organization.

But since this is the Jets, I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a report that Woody Johnson was taking serious advice from Rodgers on who the new GM and coach should be. :mjlol:

How about none of the above?

Carr has never gotten it done.

Wilson a bust.

Rodgers was on the brink of being washed and was a malcontent his last year in GB. The fact that you had to bring in his own OC, and sign Lazard/Cobb meant the cost was too high. Then they had to in get Reddik, fire Saleh, trade for Adams and make win now moves with a team that's not even ready to win the division. Everyone wants to act like the Russell Wilson trade was the worst but it's clearly Rodgers based on all the dominoes that fell.

Best move would've been to sign a lower cost vet and wait it out until you're in position to trade up to draft someone.

I don't get why Wilson went ahead of Fields. Jets should have taken him. Maybe he has more success if that happened.
