Iran isnt the largest supplier of oil in the middle east. Saudi Arabia is. With over twice the oil of Iran.
Also Russia is Europes biggest oil supplier, by a lot. Iran doesnt supply Europe almost anything.
“In 2017, almost two thirds of the extra-EU's crude oil imports came from Russia (30 %), Norway (11 %), Iraq (8 %), Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia (both 7 %). A similar analysis shows that more than three quarters of the EU's imports of natural gas came from Russia (40 %), Norway (26 %) and Algeria (11 %), while almost three quarters of solid fuel (mostly coal) imports originated from Russia (39 %), Colombia and United States (17 % each).”
Yall stereotyping and not even understanding you are stereotyping. This would be like saying the USA supplies China with basketballs just because the NBA is more popular in America.
Neither US or Europe fukk with Iran regarding almost anything.
For one...history disagrees with you TWICE. When OPEC member countries colluded to restrict production in 1973 oil prices quadrupled and there was a Recession in the U.S. Again in 1979....the outbreak of the Iranian Revolution and the Iraq-Iran war cut production by 4 percent, and oil prices doubled. I mean that's history disagreeing with you right there. Yes, you're right, there are heavy sanctions on Iran which limits the amount of oil they export but, Iran still is the 7th largest exporter in the world and they export roughly 1 million barrels per day. If you cut supply anywhere, prices will double. Economics 101. Cmon bruh.
Last time I checked Iran is next to Saudi Arabia and Iraq Last year they bombed Saudi oil facilities and they locked down the Persian Gulf multiple times.
In an all-out war, you think they're not doing all that and worse
Look at this map and see how many places Iran can fukk up. When Iran decides to bomb Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, and the UAE, you gonna sit here with a straight face and say oil prices won't go up tenfold
