Howard University Board of Trustees Votes to Accept the Return of Honorary Degree Issued to Sean Combs, End Agreements and Return Gift Funds
Neither Howard University’s Board of Trustees nor its administration will have further comment on this matter.
"The University is unwavering in its opposition to all acts of interpersonal violence,” the school stated. “The Board has also directed the University administration to immediately take the following actions: terminate a 2016 gift agreement with Mr. Combs, disband the scholarship program in his name, return his $1 million contribution, and terminate a 2023 pledge agreement with the Sean Combs Foundation. No payments toward the $1 million pledge have been due or made by the Sean Combs Foundation as of this date, therefore no funds are due to be returned under the 2023 pledge agreement.”

I mean what do you expect. Oliver Otis Howard was a white man who helped rescend the order of reparations...they then deeded him land for this University to teach negros how to conform to the white mans standardsit’s a “look at me, massa” gesture. we hold ourselves to a standard no one else does. and that self-destructive tendency is tied to our near pathological desire to be viewed as equals by white people. we crave acceptance from our oppressor to such an insane degree that we are quick to turn on our own when an opportunity to do so is presented and we think it’ll please him.
