These droughts out West have been so bad and get worse and worse. I can't even remember the last substantial rain we've gotten where I'm at. Add that wind and it's a recipe for disaster.
The wind is the problem. There got to be a better way to fight fire
Some of these fires are at 0% Containment

it's the wind, the wind is always what makes these more dangerous and hard to fight. you can try to set a perimeter but if the wind shifts or is blowing big embers right over your blockade, fires start popping up in different areas. There got to be a better way to fight fire

Also have to keep in mind that there are only so many firefighters available(got folks coming in from out of state to help). As bad as it sounds, there are some areas where there really isn't much they can do so it's better to let them burn and worry about the areas you can save.Second... To keep it simple @TELL ME YA CHEESIN FAM? basically all that high wind your hearing about... its acting like a multi-block flame thrower.
While your fighting 1, that giant flamethrower is torching 100 at the same time.
Until that wind dies down its like spraying a water hose into a volcano.
It’s not that easy with the wildlife (trees/bushes), wind and homes in close vicinity. It’s why insurance companies have started to not cover new home buyers there. A friend of mine was talking about trying to sell his place a few weeks ago. Shyt sucks smhThere got to be a better way to fight fire

They also abandoned water reservoirs and let any runoff roll right into the oceanThese droughts out West have been so bad and get worse and worse. I can't even remember the last substantial rain we've gotten where I'm at. Add that wind and it's a recipe for disaster.
Brehs what's the black areas in L.A. looking like right now? I'm not too well versed in the specific locations listed. Are these areas with Black people being impacted???
I think last major rain storm was last year.. end of January.. around grammy's. with the flooding. These droughts out West have been so bad and get worse and worse. I can't even remember the last substantial rain we've gotten where I'm at. Add that wind and it's a recipe for disaster.
Thanks. I meant to type this. Would WOodland Hills be considered a black area? Most are good. Baldwin Hills, Inglewood, Watts, etc. are far from the locations. These are mainly smack in the middle of the LA region. Even though there’s a big hill with dry vegetation, there’s really not much room for it to spread like crazy even if there were fires.
I actually consider that a mixed area but largely Hispanic and Armenian.Thanks. I meant to type this. Would WOodland Hills be considered a black area?
