this is crazy cap, he most def was and was incredible actully in okc

with that said hes cooked now

OKC basically replaced KD wit PG. Same structure and team wit Russ, got All NBA wing same position and they went 3-8 in playoffs, b2b 1st round Ls that were both upsets and they had homecourt.... He got shyt on by Joe Ingles 1st playoff run and then CJ McCollum the next and couldn't get past the 1st round when they was supposed to be one of the top contenders....

Prime PG was a very good player. Not great. Offensively he always was streaky and Playoff P was one of the biggest runnin jokes for years. Ty Lue system made him look alot better than he was shyt look what Norm Powell doin now but overall PG was not GREAT.

This team isn’t serious. The reason guys like Chris Paul and LeBron and Steph have had longevity is because of how focused they are.

Similarly it’s why we see weird lines from folks like Ja, Watson, and everyone talented on the hornets.

The injuries early on really derailed his season. That and Embiid being hurt, living in a new city again as a west coast guy, and the Sixers falling into a hole in the east must have really fukked his head. It’s been established that he’s not the most mentally tough guy in the league. The only thing he can do is run it back and see if his confidence returns :manny:

Tobias Harris somewhere screaming “ Paul George over me?!”
Not at all considering he was putting up the same type of numbers there in Philly with no impact whatsoever.

As I keep mentioning, Harris is right where he needs to be on a team with no championship aspirations and he can fly under the radar.

I remember Paul George’s face at the TNT desk in the playoffs when Embiid intimated he was signing with Philly. PG did not look thrilled about the situation then or at the press conference.

Am I wrong on that?
Yeah, you're wrong. He loves the attention.

He should shut the fukk up then; stop making promises about what you're going to do, how the team will improve, how you're back on your bully shyt etc. Just shut the fukk up and hoop. He'd get a lot less heat that way.

The issue with PG is the same reason he's not with the Clippers; he wants superstar money but role-player expectations, but he only wants to play a certain way that puts the least amount of pressure on himself.

The fact that so many young hoopers cite him as their goat is concerning. The idealized version of PG and what we get are not the same thing. It'd be like if 15-20 years ago every young hooper said Lamar Odom was their guy. Lamar had a lot of unfulfilled promise but that's it.
