Homeland Security Investigations out of NYC will probably take point. not FBI. and it will be prosecutors in Southern District of NYC preparing and filing the indictment. The complaint/affidavit will be signed off by HSI lead agent.

They have been presenting to a grand jury since last year is my guess, and they are finishing it up now, the last few witnesses. They can always circle back and file a superseding indictment, after he's rolled up on this one. but they will be going for no pre trial release, which means detained until trial at MDC.

They will be looking for 20 years plus in prison. Prosecutors present cases to a grand jury over several weeks or months, or even a year or more. They have sessions like once a week or something like that. There are no defense
attorneys present.

Cassie could have taken a lot of the evidence to Southern District before she even filed the lawsuit.

That is what makes the most sense. They raided his house, found the tapes and decided to leak one. That celebrity lawyer saying Cassie leaked the tape to get ahead of any charges thrown her way when they go after Puffy, doesnt make sense. It was reported somewhere that Puffy pad 50k for the tape, so it wouldve been in Puff's possession, not Cassie's.
