If Penn State didn't get it for Sandusky (for RAPING KIDS no less) and Baylor didn't get it for Briles, I don't think they're going to drop it. I've heard that the SMU situation was so bad that they'll never resort to that again. It took them over 20 years to recover.

This is basically what happened. NCAA did not know either because they don't have a moral compass. These coaches aren't the only ones, just the most obvious ones. More dominoes will fall.

Listening to bomani and seeing the fallout today, I was 100% right. People were sloppy. While making sure that they were good with the ncaa, did not make it fed proof. Being a crook of significant amounts requires knowing all of the rules. If you are trying to move 100k and not launder it, you are asking for some people coming to your doorstep and they already have the drop on you.
