I also know that Killings or chillings (whatever these nikkas names are) was still recruiting him after he signed his LOI ( that’s what we were mad at). Mullin was trying to do the same thing he did with Sid that he did with Lovett ( who also had thoughts of leaving after he signed, and the year after that) let him experience time here, and hope he adapted. It worked for Lovett, and we hoped it would’ve worked for Sid, especially having him partner with Tariq Owens ( another player whose mother died very young).

But still recruiting a nikka after he commits is grimey as fukk. And truth be told this is the second time Uconn has done this with a Big East school ( Jalen Adams with Providence) These Uconn nikkas are grimey B.

Again, I was stunned the nikka picked us to. But son this shyt is frustrating B.

We get close with Alkins ( you couldn’t tell me he wasn’t coming here ), and Mustapha Heron ( another player who wanted to be here) and lose both because of money . That’s why we’re frustrated.


About Shamorie, I know some of those boosters ( the CEO of United healthcare group) and the CFO of KKR are some, in fact James Shannon ( COO of Indus capital) host these kids on his private yacht and mansion, but as long as Shamorie or Lovett don’t get caught . I don’t care.


Finally I’m not going to lie,it would be better to pay these kids. The BIG East has a shyt ton of Wall Street and Big Law alumni. The kids make whatever money they can, and we get better recruits.

Jalen Adams never committed to Providence, and UConn was his dream school. Since you're using UConn and Providence as an example, that's exactly what Ed Cooley did for Makai-Ashton Langford. The whole recruiting a kid after they signed an NLI, you want me to keep it a stack, every school does that. It's even worse with college football. Back in the day, a verbal was equivalent to a signed letter, but it's a new era. You ever notice how a kid could transfer, and pick a new school within days? There you go. You better hope that immediate transfer rule doesn't happen. That's legal tampering. Shamorie destroys at St. John's but don't make the tourney? Immediate playing time at Arizona. You don't want to see what's grimey.

And again Rawle wasn't happening. I speak to his camp all the time. Once he blew up and reached 5-Star status, he went Hollywood. Heron is legit beef though.
