This is just a case of someone getting too greedy. Like, he got away with it the first time, when they did it for Obama. But the fact that Low was being investigated for campaign finance fraud while Pras helped them the second time is where Pras’ luck ran out. He might have been better off buying 20 elephants with that first payoff instead of doubling back and donating to Obama’s campaign, that’s what sent the signal.
