This trade shocked me but there was writing on the wall: Gase called out Jay for not knowing the playbook and bad pass protection. It looks like they have faith in Drake, he is more versatile. Philly got a pro bowl RB who will open up things for their passing game; plus, you need a dominant running game in the playoffs.

I trust Gase. He knows what he's doing. Our offense is going to look different next year, Landry will be gone too.

The rest of us are cautiously optimistic, but still extra hyped because the team is clearly exceeding all of our expectations. I think we expected to compete, but nobody expected THIS big of a simultaneous leap from Wentz AND the defense as a unit (we have also discovered a pretty decent young kicker, as well). Future seems bright for us right now...can't fault cats for being pumped about that.

myth breh. none of our backs being able to block is the main reason Ajayi was traded for, it became a bigger issue once Peters went down.
