WE HAVE ANOTHER bytch WHO CAN'T COMPREHEND WHAT HE READS!:wow:

I'm not talking about the music, I'm talking about the culture. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO KEEP TYPING THE SAME shyt!

Yall nikkas aint nothing but women trapped in mens bodies, because you are arguing with me just to do it, because you are not even responding to what I wrote, you are responding to how you FEEL about what I wrote.

Those same drug dealers got their style from the cool hip hop heads, and they had money so they could buy certain clothes, and jewelry. The style itself came from hip hop heads. Do you know the difference in being stylish, and buying expensive things?

Most of yall must have never seen how hip hop changed things, and you are getting your info from reading, so you are just repeating what you heard, you never saw it!

I don't know how much you've been harping on this point but it's not completely accurate.

Rappers used to dress more like rockers/Parliment because it was much more about the stage and showmanship than it was about anything. The "cool Hip Hop guys" dressed like performers until Run DMC started dressing more like street guys. From there Hip Hop became a marketing engine due to their cross over which in turn started influencing street wear.

You just showed you didn't grow up hip hop!

If they wanted to, they should, that is what made hip hop so popular, hip hop people did what they wanted regardless if you liked it or not. They had some money which made it even more wild! Most people with money are scared of being different, because they are sacred of losing the money because of it.

But, why can't they get Dapper Dan to make some fly shyt like he did in the 80's! You know a suit & tie is not the only way to look classy, right?

Like I said, I can see why hip hop doesn't have that spirit anymore, the people who did it sold out. When was the last time you heard any type of rebellious shyt like the 80's & 90's, even though its getting worse for the average American? You don't, and those photos explain why!

Are we sure this breh ain’t sick or something? Get some bad news from a doctor? This sounds like one of those apologies someone gives when they’re just trying to get their karma right.

There’s exceptions to every rule and I don’t know how your pops got his bread, but everybody wasn’t rockin Kangols in ‘84 especially not the average black kid listening to Run DMC.

And yeah, Cazals was bread and if you wanted that same kinda style at a slightly smaller price point you had EQs.
Lol I can't speak for 84 that's the year I was born...speaking for late 80s into the 90s

You watched too many documentaries.

Nobody could afford a fukkin Kangol and Cazals in the early 80s but hustlers.
BULLshyt!

You do know everyone did some type of husting, and it wasn't jut drug dealing! People used to boost shyt all the time.

And it isn't Cazals!

Its' Gazelles! You just played yourself!

AND KANGOLS WERE NOT SOME shyt ONLY DRUG DEALERS HAD. WTF!

Right? He acts like dudes were hugging corners in silk suits.

:russ:

And used a pic of an function, where of course dudes got fresh as a way to prove his point.

The wildest part was when he put the definition of “rebellious” up, as if the root word isn’t the verb “rebel”. Dude is one of these Hip Hop revisionist stick in a past that didn’t exist the way he thinks it did.

How old are you @truth2you?
I put that picture up to show you the different styles, not why or where they were wearing the clothes? I even said "early 1980's drug dealer style". You act just like a chick. You have been proven wrong, even with pictures, but you won't admit it. That page I showed you has many more people looking like that who were not drug dealers, but yall lames just ignore that because you want to listen to some bullshyt you heard a million times!

And Yes, they did! But it wasn't silk suits it would be something dressy. It was the young people who dressed hip hop, that is why when they would get fly they would emulate the older dealers, but people my age or younger didn't do that when they would get money in the 90's, and get fly, they would dress hip hop just with jewelry. Before crack anyone wasn't hustling, you had to get put on.

Yall nikkas just showed you either don't remember or was not paying attention to the older people. I always wanted to be older so I watched everything they did. That nikkas @tuckdog even had no idea how to spell the name of glasses everyone used to wear. It may be small to yall because you never seen it real life, but if he seen it like he claims, there is no way he would call them "cazals".lol We all called them "Gazelles". That is the name of the company, not the style people were wearing:mjlol:

His ass is so lame, he really thinks everyone actually went to the store to pay for the shyt!:gucci:

Born in 1977!

Pops rocked nothing but kangol in the 80s and 90s and he wasn't a dealer.... Jamaicans rocked that heavy.....cazals were bread tho
\Everyone didn't actually pay for them. It's called boosting or buying off a booster. And it isn't called Cazals, its Gazelles(that's what the streets called them). That nikka just showed he is fronting

These nikkas have no street in them
They look like Air Revolutions. Hard to tell though.

video-017844.jpg
Older Drug dealers didn't rock sneakers, unless you got on in the crack era

Yall nikkas are slowly showing yall never noticed anything happening outside or you weren't there. lol

LAMES!

:mjlol:
Exactly, the "street guys" were hip hop heads, not drug dealers, that happened from 1986-1990/91 when everyone started selling crack, and didn't need to be vouched for to get put on. Those older guys dressed like the old time hustlers.

I explained all of this already, yall nikkas just don't like reading or just like to disagree

wait.. whut??? they were??
these dudes too??

His dumb ass don't realize they were lo lifes too, I'm talking the whole bootcamp, and people around them. I grew up with nikkas doing all those things because we all from Brooklyn. When Bootcamp came out, they were so loved because they represented our teenage era in Brooklyn. By the time they came out, we were on some new styles, not the drug dealer look from the previous era.

nikkas in here just show they got hip hop from watching tv!

@Brolic Scholar @tuckdog

Since yall claim I'm fronting, let me ask you when did decepticons die down, and what came next?
How did people boost back then?
What were the spots to boost at in NYC?
How much did a kilo cost in 1982 compared to 1989?
Where did most people go cop weight from?
When did smoking blunts get popping in the city?
Which areas were the first ones to smoke blunts? I ask about blunts because that was another hip hop influence because before that older heads only smoke joints, they called it reefer.
What happened to you if you got caught smoking in the 80's in NYC?

It the little shyt that shows who was really there, because you can't repeat what you heard on documentaries!

You mean go google?:comeon:

You aint gonna find it on the net, but if you aren't from NYC, why are you telling me how I grew up?:wtf:

I can tell you the phases I went though from wanting to be a dj, to a breakdancer, to drug dealer, because that's who were the cool guys. The drug dealing came when everyone was selling crack, and showed it, before that drug dealers dressed classy, and drove Cadillacs, NOTHING HIP HOP ABOUT THEM!

I can even tell you the drug dealing cars in the era yall act like was the only era in hip hop. I used to go uptown and just be in awe of everything I was seeing. The movie "paid in full" showed it right when they showed all the cars going up & down the strip, and everyone outsied having fun just enjoying the show. I can even tell you the west indian side because I come from Flatbush, and at that time they were coming into Brooklyn in large numbers, which those pictures were taken at. That instagram page shows how we all lived. I guess only drug dealers also had sheepskins too, huh @tuckdog If you are NYC, do you remember who were the only ones who could wear sheepskin without a problem? And why?

Only drug dealers wore Kangols?

Actually didn’t use Google on any of that and I put that on my daughters. I was literally taking a shyt and going from memory. So was I right? What does that tell you? Hip Hop was happening everywhere, not just Brooklyn and the news of what happened there made it past the boroughs. Just because y’all assumed the world was behind, didn’t mean it was true.

Now, you are claiming this look that you see in the pictures, (which is hip hop before the name "hip-hop") was happening outside of Brooklyn? SO, Hip Hop is not from NYC then? nikka PLEASE!

WHERE? I used to go down south every year, and NO ONE looked like me because it was hard to get those clothes in other areas. As soon as people would find out I'm from NYC it was likeI was a star. They didn't even have to ask me, they knew I wasn't from there just by looking at me!

And where was this drug game happening? NYC was where everyone went to cop, until crack came other places didn't have drugs like that, at least black people. Even yall was late with crack, and yall only got it, because we would go out of town, and sell the shyt for more money. Yall got into the crack game, deep, in the the early 90's. Yeah some did have crack, but it was only a few, nothing like NYC where every nikka(all races) & his mother was hustling crack, dope, weed, coke, mescaline, dust, acid. Even ecstacy was popping hear before yall got on. I first heard of ecstacy around 1993/4. The country got onto it in 1999/2000.

You are just showing how you are faking everything, and hoping people will believe your bullshyt!
