Basically a hard line is being created that Russia or other parts of eastern europe can't cross. If someone attacks a nato country it can trigger WWIII

WWIII is inevitable since it's the pattern of history for huge wars to pop off every hundred years or so but it's still unclear which country will be the one to trigger it.

Israel is going to advance further into West Asia if they complete their genocide against the Palestinians and fully occupy that land. The Israelis know that the only way they'll destroy palestinian resistance is through a genocide. This current government knows it and that's why they didn't have security on Oct 7th and ignored all the intelligence briefings. They don't want an Iraq or Afghanistan style situation where an insurgency just bleeds them over years. They have to either agree to a two state solution or do a wounded knee or holocaust style genocide. If that happens, it could trigger a massive economic backlash against the united states and israel.

The last time a country with a massive and sophisticated military was pressed economically due to its actions, things didn't work out so well for the world.

Russia could make the mistake of attacking a nato country and if they refuse to fall back and they double down like they did in Ukraine, that triggers an immediate response from Europe and (depending on who the president is) America.

As I said they have one of two options and it's obvious they've decided on the genocide play. The last time an israeli leader wanted a two state solution, they killed him and the people in charge right now celebrated the murder of Yitzak Rabin.

Netanyahu absolutely knew that an attack was possible and in the works on Oct 7th and there's evidence they've even allowed funding to go into Hamas for years. Anyone can type the words "Israel suitcases

The original plan was a slow genocide, but he knew his government was becoming more and more unpopular and he was at risk of being investigated for crimes that he and his goons have been doing. Netanyahu is basically "what if Donald Trump was more well spoken" and his cabinet is essentially the Israeli equivalent of Maga Republicans. With Oct 7th, the new plan was to essentially let it happen so he would have full state support for a genocide. While this is happening he can keep telling people to move past politics and be patriotic. It's literally just like 9/11 all over again. The whole country in hysterics and thirsting for blood.

There's two major global powers. USA is basically the throne of the West. The 'free World'. Includes the US military and NATO as well as Israel and places like Australia.

Then there's the other mfs. I guess we can broadly call them communists. China. Russia. North Korea. But then there's Iran and other countries that are the opps.

New NATO members just strengthens our position. It's high level stuff but definitely important to US America being as nice as it is.

Art if War says only fight when you have an overwhelming winner. Otherwise you want to deter your opps from even trying it. Massive power is best if it works as intimidation. The worse outcome would be needing to use it.
