Doesn't seem like that big of a deal...he's still in the juvi system...he does a couple months tops at some glorified boys home or bootcamp...maybe house arrest again at his granny's house...and then he's back to making his hybrid waka/souljah rap recordings

i wonder if you would be showing this much support to him IF he got his high school diploma or got himself in college. it seems like folks support young black men when they fukk themselves over by doing things to get themselves in the system or the graveyard BUT will hate on them when they're getting an education or doing something productive.

i can't even call what dude doing as a rapper as productive. sure he's getting himself off the street BUT he's pretty much a naive kid that is being exploited by a record company marketing off of a serious problem among the youth in an inner city community. this is different than n.w.a. or other gangster rap acts where they somewhat distance themselves from that lifestyle. he also seems to have it in his mind to still expose himself in the same lifestyle that the record business is supposed to help himself get out of. yeah, he may not be 18 BUT he might as well live like he's 18 as he's a father. at this point, he's NO longer a kid. he's a man.
