They already proved to be intelligent by bombing an American military base with 0 causalities as a warning sign. They invented chess I don't see them pulling checkers moves randomly. I read on CNN website that Iran is willing to let French, Ukrainian and Canadian officials inspect the black box and provide the findings for the world to see. They don't want to give it to the US officials. If this is true I don't see why they would bomb their own plane
