Sounds odd to pay that much for a sports website. I feel dumb for thinking that shyt wasn't even worth a million dollars

The site seemed pretty the few times I checked it out though. And it was only a few times, because I remember the journalism being horrendous and found the website format awkward. Props though, I guess hard work pays off.

bleacher report is being viewed as the facebook for sports. that could be the only viable reason why any company would pay that much for that site

I'm not surprised. Seems like anytime I search anything sports related a Bleacher Report article comes up near the top of the search list. That site probably gets a ton of traffic whether people like it or not. Quantity>quality I guess.....

Bleacher Report is not reputable, it's just somewhere to go to see stuff and sometimes the research is actually good by some writers on there.

I have a friend who writes for Bleacher Report. He's an actual sports writer, but most of the writers are just kids in college doing it for free. It can be entertaining to read some of the writing, but it's all just opinion very seldom backed with actual facts. So really it's no different then reading The Coliseum.
