Joffrey was worse than Walt, he most definitely did not have to do half the shyt he did. They implied he had some natural inclination to dominate and harm others on the show, it was the only thing he seemed to like.

Walt most resembles Tywin, but he's actually a little more sympathetic imo.

I see what you mean, but the central setting of Game Of Thrones is Westeros, and the central setting of Breaking Bad is Albuquerque's criminal underworld, in which Walt had to adapt or die.

I like to go with the idea that Walt has always been a sociopath, an embittered man partially to do with the Gray Matter situation, and up until the cancer diagnosis and his decision to start cooking meth, he's never really had an opportunity to unleash his inner Heisenberg.

But then Ramsay didn't have to do what he did to Theon. Joffrey didn't have to torment Sansa the way he did. Walder Frey could have forgiven Robb instead of arranging the red wedding.

Either way, for me Walt's worst acts are pretty tame in comparison to some of the atrocities committed in Game Of Thrones.

I agree. One of the most interesting things in Breaking Bad was the oscillation between Walter White and Heisenberg. Whereas Joffrey was his equivalent of Heisenberg throughout the whole show. A true scumbag.

That's why I said "besides the obviously psychopathic characters". Joffrey and Ramsay are nuts, they aren't typical even of the characters on "GoT".

Neither is Walder Frey, due to the Red Wedding he was seen as a scum bag, even the Lannister's couldn't openly co-sign what he did regardless of their part in it.

Anyway, like I said, it was probably just a compliment and not literally "Walt is worse".

Fred.

Walt would be Tywin, or maybe Bolton.
Very similar characters, all great players in the game.

There's no way you can compare Walt and Tywin. Walt is self-absorbed and obsessed with his legacy but he doesn't shyt on his kids or mentally abuse or belittle either one of them. Granted, he does, indirectly, put them in harm's way, but Walt is not brave enough to face this truth, nor does he have the courage to own up to his fukkery. It's always someone else's fault. On the other hand, Tywin is apologetically ruthless, uses his children as pawns, and shyts on them if they don't play the game the way he thinks it should be played.
