normally i would agree but this fukker deserved to rot in a cell for the rest of his life. he deserved to be hunted, terrorized, raped, and forced to live his life in a cage like his victims did. he took the easy way out like the coward he was
yea i woulda loved to see him get tortured but in the end :manny: he died early

honestly the worst part about this shyt is reading remarks from his lawyers. i mean i get how it works, but the fact that a person could utter a fukkin word even resembling a defense of this dude is sickening

nothing logical about revenge, breh
1st good that he's dead, less taxes :manny:
2nd.
What's logic got to do with emotion? Ever notice how people, particularly intellectuals, tend to overlook emotions as if they are unwanted unreasonable things and yet they are a large part of what makes a human human? When you take away emotion and just apply logic you end up with a psychopath. IMHO we should seek to understand things as much, if not more, through emotions as we do through pure intellect.

Revenge makes sense bruh, to much sense.

Being logical is not being a psychopath, infact psychopaths are terrible logicians from a social contract and cautionary standpoint.

Speakin in terms of logic, a psychopath will justify, using logic, many of their actions often devoid of emotion. Not really my point though, so i'll retract that example. The point was why do people tend to disregard emotions as if they are an inferior aspect of the human condition? Just always seamed odd to me, more so as I get older and interact with kids and see how closely "logic" and emotions tie together in "the real world".

As I get older, I become increasingly tired of immature calls for criminals to get murdered, raped, and castrated. These brutish outbursts for primitive eye for an eye revenge disgusts me. It's not what the justice system is supposed to be about, and honestly... We're supposed to be better than that. And even if we aren't, we should strive for it.

He got life, and I dont believe in capital punishment so...

fair enough. personally i think the punishment of life in the penal system is subjecting the prisoner to many of the horrors you mentioned in your previous post. or at least living in constant fear that they can happen at any time. it's definitely not intended to be a period of serene reflection. hanging himself was almost like a way to escape the suffering of the prison system that he knew he would never get out of. he deserved to experience that fear and horror for what he did, imo.

I'm still torn on that. In some cases I've just faced my own interpretation of reality and realized some people are cancerous to society and the world and mankind in general is better off with those people no longer living. It's illogical to trap someone forever :manny: And yet the humanistic/emotional side of me stands with you for the majority of people killed via capital punishment.

That's the argument for more females in leadership positions
